VAULTS POWER was a wonderful surprise: a very well-written thriller featuring a heroine, Robyn Gabriel, who reminded me of Modesty Blaise: a tough, independent, sexually liberated alpha female with one soft spot: her twin sister.
They may be on the outs, but when her twin is kidnapped in France, Robyn will do whatever it takes to save her. But the only thing the kidnappers want is the fabled Voynich manuscript, which is impossible to steal and can't be decoded even if it could be obtained. Up against a twisted band of evildoers with friends in high places, Robyn has to do the impossible to save her sister.
Echer's first novel is a winner.
