VAULTS OF POWER ON THE SINKING OF THE TITANIC:
NOT AN ACCIDENT
Here is a post very kindly hosted by Bookingly Yours where I map out the general idea of the conspiracy behind the sinking of the Titanic.
_And here is short excerpt of Vaults of Power where main characters Parker and Robyn discuss some aspects of the sinking of the Titanic.
“1912 is the year the Titanic was sunk,” he said. She poured herself some more Tequila. Parker raised a hand. “Before you get all upset, listen.” He was pacing the kitchen. “You're familiar with the story, right?” As historian, and then as treasure hunter, Robyn was more than just familiar with the story. But brainstorming was in order, so she said, “Keep going.” “In 1910, seven men representing the Rockefellers, JP Morgan and the Rothschilds met in Jeckyll Island in Georgia to establish the bases of a central bank for the United States. In 1913, the Federal Reserve Act was finally signed. But in 1912—” “What happened to the Titanic?” He stopped his pacing. “That's the story. The Morgans were indebted to the Rothschilds. The Rockefellers and the Morgans were engaged in different joint ventures. And the Rothschilds, totally infiltrated by Jesuit laymen, were the bankers of the Society of Jesus, aka the Jesuits. The power of the Jesuits was so threatening that the Order was banned from several European countries and suppressed by the Vatican in the late 1700s. They're in endless need of money and infiltrate every banking system they can. Until 1973, Switzerland had a constitutional ban on Jesuit presence in the country.” Robyn knew all that. Parker was getting at something, so she didn’t interrupt. And while he spoke, she tried to connect what he was saying with Sybil’s kidnapping. It made less and less sense. “The Jesuits have priests,” he continued. “And they have laymen who are just as devoted to the Society as the clergy, only nobody knows who they are. They serve the order in whatever position they are. They take an oath binding them until they die, under which they will obey any order given by their master within the Society.” He gulped a fritter. Robyn nodded and said, “Without will or intelligence.” “In 1912,” Parker continued, “the Titanic, owned by the White Star Line, a JP Morgan Company, set sail from Southampton. Her captain was Edward Smith, a Jesuit layman. Are you following me?” Robyn indulged him. “The Jesuits have members obeying blindly. The Morgans own the Titanic, and because the Morgans are indebted to the Rothschilds, who are infiltrated by the Jesuits, the Jesuits exercise their leverage to have one of their men appointed as captain of the Titanic.” “Right. You’re pretty sharp, for a woman,” he joked. “Father Francis Browne, an Irish Jesuit and Smith's superior, boards the ship in Southampton. He meets privately with Edward Smith –“ “--the captain--” Robyn clarified. “--The captain,” Parker confirmed. “Then Browne is ordered by his own Jesuit Superior to refuse the invitation of a millionaire to pay for his fare for the whole round trip. He has strict orders to disembark at Queenstown. The rest is history: that night, Edward Smith sails the Titanic full speed into the North Atlantic, a route he's travelled for over twenty years. Where he knows there are many icebergs. He ignores eight telegrams ordering him to slow down. Eight. When the ship finally hits an iceberg, he deliberately neglects his leadership duties. Doesn't take action. His aide has to press him to give orders to lower the lifeboats.” “You're saying the Jesuits deliberately sunk the Titanic.” “I'm telling you Browne meets with Smith and is ordered to leave the ship immediately. And Smith is a Jesuit layman, sworn into obeying orders blindly. And I'm telling you that very night Smith, best captain for the North Atlantic at that time, makes mistake after mistake.” Parker counted on his fingers. “Disregards warnings. Disregards orders to slow. Goes against basic safety rules. Allows half-full life-boats to be lowered. Didn’t have enough life-boats to begin with.” “So Browne gave Smith orders,” Robyn interrupted. “And the result is over fifteen hundred deaths.” “JP Morgan had no interest in sinking its own ship. So it had to be about the passengers. Who was on board?” she asked. “Poor catholic emigrants. Irish, French, Italians.” “They wanted to kill poor Catholics?” “No. These were the cover-ups. In case clues eventually pointed to the Vatican, their deaths would deflect suspicion.” “So who then?” Parker smiled briefly again. “Three men. Benjamin Guggenheim, Isador Strauss, John Jacob Astor.” “Okay.” She was thinking of a handful of reasons why the Jesuits could want them dead. “And why?” For more, I'm afraid you'll have to read the book now. I'd hate to spoil your experience by revealing too much of the plot... |
